On 2014 Forest Hills Drive’s “No Role Modelz,” J. Cole certainly isn’t talking about his fans. Because they have at least one: Him.
Cole has continuously shown his dedication to fans and willingness to provide strength for them if possible, like earlier this year, when he fulfilled a two-year promise of attending a fan’s high school graduation, and helping her pay for college tuition.
Or, the latest example, a fan named Tae Stackhouse who, according to his Facebook page, was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Tae got a visit from Cole, saying that his mother and aunt helped bring his “favorite rapper” to see him.
“I’m proud to say that I’m blessed even tho I have cancer he told me to keep positive so that’s what Ima do,” he wrote.
As usual, Cole didn’t publicize his deed. Instead, the recipient of it shared what happened, and others took notice online.
Keep fighting, Tae. And keep inspiring, Cole.
