‘Human Rites’ World Premiere
Don’t miss the world premiere of Seth Rozin’s play “Human Rites” at the Phoenix Theatre July 20. The production runs through Aug. 13 with Lavina Jadhwani as the director. The fiery play focuses on old drama being brought back to light when Michaela is dean of the university that Alan, a former lover, attends. Michaela challenges Alan on a paper he has written claiming the sexualization of Black women for personal gain. Ticket prices vary but start at $20. Naptown Dope Comedy Show
Laugh out loud at the Naptown Dope Comedy Show at Morty’s Comedy Joint on Sunday, July 16. Comedian Landon Jones will be headlining the show, and funny guys Drew Thomas from “Last Comic Standing” and Cazsell Williams from “ComicView” will be featured.
