Boy was I in for a surprise that wonderful day I discovered this eatery. Who knew that pizza could be so enriching? You have not tried real pizza until you’ve eaten at Greek’s Pizzeria. Throw the national chain pizza joints out the window and indulge in this crisp, fresh, gourmet pizza.
Let me not get ahead of myself. This pizza gets me excited! First off, you are bound to notice the red and white-checkered look plastered across the tables. It’s like one giant picnic is going on. The space is quite homey. I did notice that the tables are quite close, giving you that family oriented feel. It’s cute and cozy.
I decided on an appetizer before diving into my meal. I’m so thankful I did, and I advise you to pick the homemade garlic breadsticks. One bite and you are hooked. The glittery butter glistens on the breadsticks, while they sit in a pool of delectable garlic sauce. The cheese sauce that accompanied is perfection. It may seem like I am exaggerating, but I’m serious. It’s plain delicious.
Next, I selected my pizza. I decided on a half-and-half, one side was pepperoni and the other was supreme. My service was prompt and once the pizza arrived it was like the heavens opened up. The whole presentation was like a TV commercial. The pizza was actually, dare I say, pretty. It looked absolutely amazing and tasted every bit like it. It had sauce, zest, and a hint of sweetness; everything was superb. The garlic butter crust on the pizza is icing on the cake.
I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. Plus, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I’m excited that the new Broad Ripple location is here. I have a feeling they may start to know me by name.
