I immediately stopped in my tracks when I entered FroYo Frozen Yogurt. The décor was amazing. It screams summer, from the bright yellow and orange couches, to the berry blue walls. It’s a yogurt version of a candy store.
Nothing says summer like a sweet and delicious treat, which is what I got at FroYo.
It’s a self-served eatery, which requires you to select your yogurt and toppings then weigh it on a scale. Your yogurt’s weight determines how much you’ll be spending.
The shop alone has over 10 yogurt options and 40 toppings, which is very fun. I behaved like a kid with no home training as I tried flavors such as cheesecake, peanut butter, strawberry banana, red velvet and the list goes on.
Finally, I got a hold of myself and settled for the infamous cake batter. Man, was it delicious! Next, I had to select my toppings. My work was definitely cut out for me.
Imagine rows of delicious treats that will satisfy your sweet tooth. That is a reality at FroYo’s! I was troubled at first, not knowing what I should combine with my delectable Cake Batter. But I finally settled on mini waffle cones, white chocolate and strawberries.
Okay, so I was a bit close-minded, right? But my choices were quite satisfying nonetheless. The waffle cones were like icing on the cake and a great addition!
I was kind of envious of my friend’s cream-filled selection, though. They choose Strawberry Banana, which was amazing, and loaded tons of toppings. I’m talking M&Ms, brownie bits, sprinkles, marshmallows, gummy bears… the works. Of course, I snagged a bite!
What’s awesome is how friendly the atmosphere is, because you feel welcomed from the moment you enter. In addition to all the liveliness, there is also an attached garage on the side of FroYo. It is filled with couches, stools, tables and chairs, and flat screen TV’s. Plus there is free WiFi! You’re invited to come in, grab some yogurt and watch some television or browse the web. If that isn’t accommodating, I don’t know what is.
Not only is FroYo yogurtly delicious (yes I made that phrase up), it’s a great place to just relax. It’s definitely a summer hot spot.
