Tuesday, the Marion County Republican Party precinct committeemen elected Jennifer L. Ping Chairman of the Marion County Republican Party. Ping is the first woman to serve as Republican County Chair in Marion County.
“I want to thank Chairman Kyle Walker for his service over the past 5 years. From the re-election of Mayor Greg Ballard to electing Mayor Steve Collier in Lawrence, we saw many successes thanks to his leadership,” said Ping.
“Now, we will look to the future and build a larger, stronger Party where Republicans of all stripes are welcome. We will advocate for policies that continue to build on the progress of the Ballard administration—and voice strong opposition to those that do not,” Ping concluded.
