American Heart Association’s Start! Initiative and Nature Rocks™ Launch “60 Miles in 60 Days” WalkING Challenge

WHO American Heart Association and Nature Rocks join forces to empower families to get outdoors and get active with the launch of the “60 Miles in 60 Days” Walking Challenge.

WHAT Nature Rocks and the American Heart Association’s Start! initiative have issued a “60 Miles in 60 Days” Summer Walk Challenge to families across the country – asking families to get together, go outside and walk. The walks can be as anything from a stroll around the neighborhood to getting out to a local nature preserve.

HOW Participants can sign up and track their miles at http://www.startwalkingnow.org/mystart_tracker.jsp and select “Nature Rocks” as the company. Participants can also visit www.naturerocks.org <<a href=”http://www.naturerocks.org”>http://www.naturerocks.org> <<a href=”http://www.naturerocks.org/”>http://www.naturerocks.org/> to download a free 60 Miles in 60 Days Guide that includes tips, a walking checklist and mileage tracker to help complete the challenge safely and successfully.

The first 60 people to sign-up will receive an eco-friendly reusable water bottle, Nature Rocks stickers and a Start! walking reflector to help them stay safe and hydrated on their journey.
