Little Red Door Cancer Agency is teaming up with St. Vincent’s Mobile Mammography Unit to offer free screening mammograms to women who qualify—women who are low-income and uninsured or underinsured.

The mobile unit will be at People’s Health Center from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., located at 2340 E. 10th St.

Individuals who wish to participate in this important preventative health care opportunity must pre-register no later than Tuesday, Feb. 2. Appointments may be scheduled by calling Little Red Door Cancer Agency at (317) 925.5595 x320. Availability is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

This community service is made possible by a partnership between Little Red Door Cancer Agency, the St. Vincent Mobile Mammography Unit and the Indianapolis Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Established in 1945, Little Red Door Cancer Agency works to reduce the physical, emotional and financial burdens of cancer for the medically underserved of central Indiana by providing free client services, cancer screenings and education.
