For many of us, Field Day was one of the most exciting days of the school year. Running, jumping, and playing was a great way to not only blow off steam, but to stay fit as well.
This year, the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper and Councillor Maggie Lewis have joined forces with Playworks Indiana to present Family Field and Fitness Day.
Gather your friends and family and join us on Saturday August 22 at George Washington Park (3130 E. 30th St Indianapolis, IN) from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. for a day of fitness fun everyone can enjoy!
- Free Admission (attendees under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult)
- Classic Field Day and Recess Games (three line basketball, rock paper scissors, relay races, and more)
- Closing Awards Ceremony
