Indiana Pacers fans will have a chance to attend two Pep Rallies and have a choice of official viewing parties for Wednesday’s Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Pacers and the Miami Heat.
The first rally of the day for the Pacers will be in downtown Indianapolis at City Market from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Another rally will be held later in the evening from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Key Bank/Kroger location on Binford Blvd., 5810 E. 71st St.
Each Pep Rally will include a visit by the Pacers Fan Van, visits by Pacers alumni players along with Pacers mascot Boomer and the Pacemates. In addition, face painters and a balloon artist will be on hand. Food and “Beat the Heat” cheer cards will be available for all fans and Pacers prizes will be awarded to lucky winners. Dave & Rae will provide live music and ex-Pacers greats Rik Smits and Billy Keller will be on hand at the Key Bank/Kroger party. Smits will team up with Don Buse at the City Market.
The Pacers viewing parties presented by Budweiser, will be held for each Pacers road playoff game. The viewing parties include visits from the Pacemates, Pacers prizes, cheer cards and more. Game 1 sites include:
