Many things are happening in today’s world and in people’s lives. To find guidance, peace, and to maintain their relationship with the Lord, people are falling on their knees in prayer.
The Bible also instructs and strongly encourages people to pray. In fact, 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to “Pray continually.”

“I consistently pray for guidance and discipline in all areas of my life. I pray for my daughter as she progresses through her college and life experiences. I pray for my friends and family. I pray for all youth in my realm of influence. I recently joined a prayer group, where the focus for September is to pray for the men in my life. The purpose is to pray and intercede on behalf of the males in our lives. This includes spouses/significant others, fathers, brothers, nephews, cousins, friends, etc.”

“I am praying for world peace, an end to violence, homelessness, hunger and guidance for world leaders and decision makers to make appropriate decisions regarding mankind.”

“Prosperity is something I typically pray for. Since God is in control I don’t question when things go wrong because I know it will make me stronger. I pray my family and close friends don’t stray from the path of doing what is right. I also pray all of our sins are cast as far as the east is from the west. There will be times when we fall down but I know when we fall down we don’t stay down –goodness and mercy come around to help us back up to reach goals, advance and get the victory. I pray we rise to the level God has intended us to be and learn how to forgive more. With that, I also pray for my enemies and forgiveness for what they have done. I’ve found that if you do that you continue to rise above.”
