St.Vincent Health officials announced enhancements to its system and individual hospital logos, and the corporate website – stvincent.org.
The faith-based health system celebrates its 35th anniversary of the three doves – which represent body, mind and spirit – by adding a wider range of color values including a more pronounced blue and vibrant green. These changes amplify the strength of the St.Vincent brand, and create more distinction for the hospital system’s patients and families.
The enhancement of stvincent.org is a strategic growth priority, which delivers an improved customer experience by including geo-targeting capabilities of providers and locations, research and innovation section, a comprehensive health information library and a find-a-physician tool.
“While these enhancements are important components of our strategic direction, we realize our greatest advocates for continuing to evolve our brand are our associates and physicians who deliver exceptional patient experiences for those who trust us with their care,” said Julie Carmichael, chief strategy officer of St.Vincent Health. “We will continue to listen to the communities we serve, provide exemplary care, and identify opportunities to adapt to the changing healthcare landscape.”
For the past 18 month, St.Vincent Health leaders worked to refine the organization’s branding strategy, which was inclusive of qualitative and quantitative research, and an extensive audit of its hospital facilities and locations across the state. This comprehensive research allowed the 22-hospital system to best understand its position and opportunities, and revisit its approach to engaging and serving patients.
“The enhanced logos signify positive change for our health ministry,” said Carmichael. “We know that the local and national healthcare landscape is changing, so it is imperative that our health system continues to respond strategically to this change.”
St.Vincent Health will make gradual implementation changes to facility signage, and will initially prioritize the conversion of digital properties and administrative supplies.
Future plans for stvincent.org include expanding health and wellness information, digital health management tools and an integrated, personalized patient portal. The new portal will offer seamless access to tools, programs, information and resources for patients and site visitors.
