Music for All: Indiana State Fair Band Day
Fifty high school bands will showcase their skills at Indiana State Fairās Band Day. Since 1947, Band Day has been an Indiana State Fair tradition where students from across the state gather to compete. This event takes place on Aug. 5 at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Ā

Patti Labelle Concert
Award-winning singer Patti LaBelle, who has been inducted into theĀ Grammy Hall of Fame, theĀ Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame, will delight audiences at the Silverado Free Stage on Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. This concert is free with fair admission.

Gospel Music Festival
Contemporary gospel artists Anthony Brown and Kierra Sheard will headline the fairās Gospel Music Festival, presented by AM 1310 and WTLC FM. The free worship event will take place from 3ā9 p.m. on Aug. 20.

Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture
Stroll through an ancient market, cook a virtual meal and peek inside the dining rooms of notable individuals as part of the Indiana State Fairās global kitchen. This exhibit will be housed in the Harvest Pavilion. The Global Kitchen: Food, Nature, Culture exhibit is organized by the American Museum of Natural History in New York.

Discount Days
Two Dollar Tuesday is the perfect day for money-smart families to enjoy all the fair has to offer. On Aug. 8 and Aug. 15, gate admission and rides are $2. On Thursday, Aug. 17, AAA cardholders receive free admission with a valid AAA membership card presented at the gate.Ā
