The Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre will be holding auditions for “The 1940s Radio Hour.” Prep sessions will be Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. Auditions will be Aug. 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. Performances will be Oct. 25 – Nov. 9. Prep sessions and auditions will be held a the Tarkington, 3 Center Green, Suite 200, Carmel, Ind.
Each person who auditions for “The 1940s Radio Hour” will receive a ticket voucher good for one free admission to the show.
Actors should note that for musicals, actors are asked to prepare 16 bars of a song and may be asked to sing from the show. Actual musicals generally provide the best materials. They should bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. Actors may be asked to read from the script. For non-musicals, actors will be asked to read from the script.
The next auditions will be Sept. 15 and 16 for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”
