How is been Muslim?

More by this author

Hello my precious brother,

I have persistently mentioned in my previous articles that Islam is to accept to enter to His divine education by being subject to the will of Allah. Those who had adopted this divine education have reached to the peak of matureness, since the creation of the first human. And so, they became the owner of a perpetual happiness. But those who had preferred to be subject to the rubbishy desires of their ego, by not accepting this divine offer, could not get rid of the world and hereafter troubles. They have also put the people around them to inconveniences always, as they were in troubles themselves.

# Must firstly believe Allah, his messengers and their all notifications

For entering Islam, namely to be Muslim, certainly, it is necessary firstly to believe a unique creator, Allah (God), that He has created all the material and spiritual alems (worlds), and He has absolute sovereignty over all things which being created by Him; He keeps them in existence by supplying their needs; He has not assistants, partners, coequals, similars; He well treats with mercy and justice to His creatures every time; He is free from all the defects and deficiencies; and He is owner of an endless power and force.

Also, it is necessary to believe all His prophets (including Mohammed aleyhissalam) and their notifications, which they have been sent to provide accessing of humans to an eternal happiness, by making passed them through a divine education.

The last ring of these prophets chain is Mohammed aleyhissalam. Mohammed aleyhissalam has corrected the false comments coming out in previous times, with the last book, Qur’an, that was been revealed to Him. And also, at the same time, he has notified the rules, to keep its validity throughout all time and to make all people happy eternally.

Everybody be Muslim, by believing in this manner, and by declaring his belief with the words “Lailahe illallah, Mohammeden rasulullah” “There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is His prophet”. This declaration of the faith is called the Shahada. This oral declaration is important in viewpoint of the law and procedures. In fact, the essential is the belief.

# Messengers are salvation guides. None of them is God.

It is necessary to believe also Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Noah aleyhissalam and all other prophets, and their notifications. All of them were the most selected creatures of God. All of them have also been sent to show the correct living style. It is necessary to respect and to be grateful to all of them. It is very wrong to divinize the prophets that they were a human such as us; it is never admissible before Allah. Allah is the only one god.

“Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin most heinous indeed.” (Qur’an, An-NisĆ”a, 48)

“They say: ‘Allah hath begotten a son!’ – Glory be to Him! He is Self- Sufficient! His are all things in the heavens and on earth! No warrant have ye for this! Say ye about Allah what ye know not?” (Qur’an, Yunus, 68)

“Say: He is Allah, the One; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.” (Qur’an, ikhlas, 1-4)

# The fundamental of Islam is the God’s unity faith

One must never be hesitant in the matter of “The Unity of God”.

“No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him: (if there were many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have lorded it over others! Glory to Allah. (He is free) from the (sort of) things they attribute to Him!” (Qur’an, muminun, 91)

The fundamental of Islam is The “only One God” belief that is expressed with the words “There is no God, but Allah”.

To be Muslim is very easy. For this, to refer to any authority or to conduct any religious ceremony is not required. It is not necessary also a specific time and specific location. Each point of the universe is appropriate to be Muslim, to live Islam, and to do worship to God. Being clean is enough.

Cleanliness of the surroundings, body and heart is the basis of Islamic worships. The first step of the divine education after the Belief is the cleanliness. (Cleanliness is of faith. Hadith) For this reason, one must be cleaned with ablution by washing his mouth, nose and whole body, after accepting to enter God’s divine education with the repetition of the shahada.

For the reason that the essence of Islam is submission to the will of Allah taala, one should start to his every work with Allah taala’s name by reciting “besmele”, and he must intend to do any work for the contentedness of Allah taala.

(Besmele is to recite “Bismillaahirrahmaanirrahim” “In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful”)

# Should before learn the essence of a correct faith

My dear brother,

A person firstly must learn the essences of Islamic belief, after being Muslim by saying the shahada. The fundamental of Islam is The “One God” belief and a correct “faith”, as I often mentioned until now. Person should not try to learn Islamic knowledges by asking any ordinary moslem around him. He must learn Islam from the books written by ahl-i sunnah scholars. The correct faith is the belief that notified in these books. We must fix our faith according to the true knowledges in these books.

# And then, must try to fulfill the commands and bans of the religion

And then, by learning the God’s commands and bans, he must try to fulfill these rules, as far as he can do. I have given these commands and forbiddens in brief in my subsequent article titled “The Golden Rules of the Perpetual Happiness”. Person should learn these rules with all details from the fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) books. If a man how much be sincere in his effort of learning and performing these rules, he completes his maturity and perfectivity at world so much quickly. He becomes a truthful, dependable, well-mannered, polite and excellent human. He is loved and respected by everybody everywhere.

A man who is sincere in his faith becomes also sincere in his acts, in his statements, in his friendships and in his loves. If a man be sincere in his belief and his acts and tries to do the worship duties as far as he can do within his knowledges, Allah taala teachs him the things who doesn’t know. “Allah teachs the things who doesn’t know” means that He creates the needed reasons for his learning them.

Be entrusted to Allah
