Indiana State Police say a fiery crash that killed a truck driver closed Interstate 65 north of Indianapolis for more than two hours.
Sgt. Kim Riley says several people were injured in the crash that apparently involved two semitrailers and four cars.
Police say one of the semis ran into the rear of the other, which set off a chain reaction. Forty-eight-year-old semi driver Michael G. Hasch of Wheatfield was killed.
The Wednesday afternoon crash happened near Frankfort, a few miles south of the Indiana 28 interchange in Clinton County. It’s about 30 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
All four lanes of the interstate were closed after the crash about 2 p.m. All but one lane reopened by 4:30 p.m.
