Hendricks County Artists and Arts Organizations:
The Arts Council of Indianapolis invites you to join us for an afternoon of ideas, information, and conversation on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. Our friends at the Hendricks Civic Theatre located in Danville will be our hosts for the meeting (directions below).
This is the third in a series of meetings to reach all of the counties in Region 7 (central Indiana) and share ideas, exchange information, and find ways to work together to enhance and support the work that you do in the arts. Our first meeting, on November 5th, was held in Boone County and our second meeting, on January 21st was held in Shelby County.
In addition to meeting new artists, gallery owners, and arts administrators in Hendricks County and catching up with old friends, we hope to hear about arts activities and initiatives in Hendricks County and to share with each of you the many opportunities, free programs and services that the Arts Council of Indianapolis offers to you and your organization. In addition, as we are embarking on a new strategic planning process, we hope to engage you in meaningful discussion and get your input about our planning efforts.
No need to RSVP – invite your artist friends, board members from Hendricks County arts organizations and join us on Wednesday, February 17. We look forward to meeting you, hearing your thoughts and ideas, and finding ways that we can work together to strengthen the arts and cultural community in Hendricks County and all of central Indiana. We hope to see you there!
