INDIANAPOLIS, IN, March 9, 2010 / — The Indianapolis Chapter of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA)
will host its 18th Annual Corporate Reception on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at University Place Hotel and Conference
Center. This year’s theme, “Opportunities in a Green Economy”, will spotlight companies and organizations
committed and engaged in environmentally responsible operations and practices known as “green” business. The
program runs from 5-9 PM with an open networking session, vendor showcase, panel discussion, dinner and cash
bar. Tickets are $35 per person.
Speakers at the meeting, who will present and help guide discussion, are George Caraghiaur, Vice President Energy
Services at Simon Property Group; Travis Murphy, Program Manager – Renewables for the Indiana Office of Energy
Development who will highlight wind energy initiatives for the program; Charles Dhanaraj, Associate Professor of
Management at Kelley School of Business (Indiana University); and Greg Spratt, Advisor – Health Safety
Environment at Eli Lilly. Angela Cain, Community Affairs Director for WTHR Channel 13, will moderate the panel.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their own ideas for a “green” response to the current environment, and
participate in the discussion. Vendors will be on site sharing information and collecting resumes. Reservation and
