Jolly old St. Nick will be making his annual visit to the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Dec. 19, as Santa swings his sleigh into the Blue Ribbon Pavilion to visit with children and spread holiday cheer and his “elves” promote healthier families.
The event, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., is specifically targeted at the Spanish-speaking community and has been hosted by the Latino Community Development, Corp for 15 years. It includes a health fair, free examinations and gifts for hundreds of children. The state fairgrounds are located at 1202 E. 38th St., Indianapolis.
Ambetter from MHS will be on hand to provide information and enrollment for low-cost health insurance.

Those interested in enrolling for health insurance should bring their Social Security or other ID number; income information such as tax statements, pay stubs or W-2 forms; and policy numbers for any current health insurance for you or a family member. If you are currently eligible to obtain coverage through your or your spouse’s employer, you will need to fill out the Employee Coverage Form.
