From the Ground Up Foods, in collaboration with several community organizations, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Oct. 24 for a new walking trail and labyrinth at the Evolve Education Center at 3202 East 42nd Street.
The event, aimed to enhance community health, wellness and overall quality of life for Indy residents.

The project is a joint effort involving the Diabetes Impact Project (DIP-IN), Evolve International, Hovey Street Church of Christ, United Northeast Community Development Corporation, and Heath Outdoor.
The walking trail and labyrinth foster mental clarity and promote mindfulness, providing residents with a safe space to connect with nature.

Noral Parham is the multi-media & senior sports reporter for the Indianapolis Recorder, one of the oldest Black publications in the country.
