Christ Church Episcopal Cathedral Women’s 46th Annual Strawberry Festival will be on Monument Circle June 9.
Serving for the always popular event in downtown Indianapolis begins at 8:30 a.m. downstairs in the Parish Hall and 9:30 a.m. under the tents on the Circle. The festival ends at 6 p.m. or until desserts sell out.
This year organizers are preparing for 20,000.
The “works” serving includes shortcake, ice cream, strawberries and whipped topping and sells for $6 or customers can order it anyway they like. There will be musical entertainment throughout the day.
The Strawberry Festival is part of the women’s missions work to heal the world as festival proceeds fund orphanages, homeless shelters, food banks, medical mission trips, schools and more worldwide.
Cathedral Women say having reached so many non-profit organizations, the festival has helped build a great reputation for Indiana as a caring and generous community in terms of what people can do together to make a better world.
Cathedral Women gave “special thanks” to all supporters for the many years help in making a better world through the Strawberry Festival.
