INDIANAPOLIS – Encore Vocal Arts, a leader in choral music in central Indiana for 40 years, announces auditions for the 2012 – 2013 season. Encore is an innovative and socially conscious choral arts organization that brings together 36 – 48 professional-caliber vocalists from all walks of life who perform both for the love of the art and for the greater good.
Auditions will be on the evenings of Aug 6 and Aug 14. Times are available between 6 and 9:30 p.m. each night. To request a time, email desired time to encorevocalartsindy@gmail.com. Interested singers are asked to bring a piece of music that shows their voice at its best. Accompanist provided. Encore sings a diverse spectrum of genre from jazz to classical, folk to sacred and major works including Handel’s Messiah in December. The season consists of six shows and runs from August through May. This is Encore’s 41st season bringing quality choral programming that enriches and uplifts the Indianapolis community.
