Pasquale’s Pizza hits the spot

More by this author

The city of Indianapolis has a nice selection of pizza restaurants. Most of the time locals order their pizza from the same place over and over again.

I have my standards, but I’ve never been so sure about a pizza restaurant until now. If you live in the city of Indianapolis and you haven’t tried Pasquale’s Pizza, you’re missing out.

Pasquale’s is a family-owned pizza restaurant with a location on just about every side of town.

Locals love the family atmosphere and the great customer service. I can attest to this because when walking in, I was greeted with warm smiles and welcoming looks.

Their customers were described as friends moreso than just customers who want food.

The customer satisfaction may be great, but you may be wondering, ā€œWhy is Pasquale’s food so special?ā€

All of their dough is made from scratch for both their pizzas and breadsticks.

Customers can choose from over 15 different toppings and can have an unlimited amount on their pizzas. Another customer favorite is their chef’s salad, which is served with homemade French dressing made from a family recipe.

Pasquale’s Pizza has a selection of other items like pastas, soups and sandwiches, but if nothing else, the one thing customer’s love is their famous Strombolis.

As I searched the menu, I was looking for a type of pizza I couldn’t get at a Papa John’s or Pizza Hut. The barbecue pizza caught my eye, and I was sold.

With Italian sausage, pepperoni and Black Forest ham topped with barbecue sauce and mozzarella cheese, it was the ultimate meat lover’s dream.

You can get anything from a peewee sized pizza to a large and with prices that are worth the buy.

I was alone, so of course I ordered a peewee sized pizza, but it sure did fill me up.

When my pizza arrived, I took the first bite and all I could see was how the melted cheese strung along so much that I had to separate it with my fingers. They weren’t selfish at all with their cheese!

I continued to finish my meal and as I reached my last bite, I realized that I wasn’t in heaven, but I was close.
