After a three year faith fight against cancer Al the Bishop Hobbs has gained the ultimate victory and transitioned to be in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
Al, an icon both locally and nationally, made an indelible contribution to every community he touched. Among Al’s many accomplishments he was most known for his service as: vice president and general manager of WTLC radio, former chairman of the Gospel Music Workshop of America , vice president of marketing and public relations of Indiana Black Expo, a national recording artist, song writer, Chairman of the largest Gospel Announcer’s guild in the world, founder of Aleho International music and Aleho Enterprises and so much more.
Al Hobbs committed his life to serving the kingdom of God and the community at large; he will be tremendously missed.
Al has left us stronger and better. We take comfort in knowing that he has left us for a better place, the shining city that awaits him. Al we salute you!
