Local and judicial candidates file with the county election board; statewide and legislative candidates file with the Indiana Election Division. The Election Board will be hosting a candidate Q&A on Tuesday, Oct. 7 and Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Election Services Center (3737 E. Washington Street) for those candidates needing assistance on how to file.

Public test of Marion County’s voting equipment is Monday, Oct. 20. The test will start at 9 a.m. at the Election Services Center (3737 E. Washington St.), which is located in the Sherman Commons Shopping Plaza at Washington and Sherman on the city’s east side.

To vote-by-mail, applications must be received by the Election Board on or before Monday, Oct. 27.
