For the third consecutive year, the Indianapolis Colts Foundation will host a 50/50 Raffle for fans at each 2016-2017 home game. Fifty percent of the net proceeds from each game’s ticket sales will go to one lucky fan and the remainder will support the work of the Indianapolis Colts Foundation in the community, according to a press release.
To date the 50/50 Raffle jackpot has totaled more than $1.3 million. Proceeds from the raffle have supported efforts around breast cancer research, youth football, education and literacy.
In addition, this summer the Colts Foundation announced plans to construct a Colts Fitness Park Fitness Park at Riverside Park on the city’s northwest side, funded by the raffle program. The new park includes a PLAY 60 Challenge Course, 40-yard dash and fitness equipment encouraging an active lifestyle in the 5,000 square foot park.
“We are very excited to for the third year of the Colts 50/50 Raffle program on gamedays,” said Colts Vice Chair and Owner Kalen Jackson. “With support from our fans over the last two seasons, the program has made a positive impact for our community and numerous charitable organizations.”
At each 2016-2017 Colts home game, tickets will be sold by Colts 50/50 Raffle sellers and can be purchased before kickoff in American Family Insurance Touchdown Town, the Blue Crew and South parking lots, as well as during the game at six kiosks throughout the stadium and from multiple mobile sellers. Prices are three (3) tickets for $5, ten (10) for $10, forty (40) for $20, and one-hundred and twenty (120) for $50. Tickets can be purchased by fans through the end of the third quarter. During the fourth quarter, the Colts will randomly select one winner and announce the winning number and amount. The winner does not need to be present to win and has thirty (30) days to claim their prize.
