Nominations are now open for the 2016 Golden Laurel Professional Reception. The Golden Laurel Professional Reception is presented in partnership with the Minority Supplier Development Council (MSDC).
The award reception will be held on September 29, 2016 at the MSDC office located at 2126 N. Meridian St. Indianapolis, IN 46202. The networking reception begins at 5:30 PM; and the awards presentation will begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
Honorees must be minority professionals working in the city of Indianapolis who have exhibited excellence in the field of medicine through any of the following categories:
Community Involvement
Nominee spends a considerable amount of time outside the office engaging in community-building initiatives and volunteer service.
Professional Achievement
Nominee has exhibited an exemplary level of professional achievement as evidenced by awards and honors from associations within the medical/healthcare industry.
International/Charitable Outreach
Nominee has traveled out of the country on an endeavor related to health/medicine and/or has offered health services pro bono in the Indianapolis community.
Excellence in Patient Care
Nominee receives positive responses from patients regarding their level of care.
Pediatrics
Nominee has excelled in the area of pediatric health care.
Women’s Health
Nominee has excelled in the area of women’s health care (Obstetrics, Gynecology, Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinologist, etc.).
Technological Innovation
Nominee has utilized cutting-edge technological advancements in medical treatments.
Lifetime Achievement
Nominee has made significant contributions to the medical profession through their many years of service. (Nominee can be retired).
Emerging Leader
Nominee has demonstrated leadership capabilities and exceptional growth early on in their career.
