The long-awaited service plaza opened this week at the Indianapolis International Airport (IND). Operations began at the Circle K convenience store and 24-hour Shell fueling services that are on site.
Fueling options include all levels of unleaded gasoline as well as diesel and compressed natural gas. A total of 24 fueling positions are available, and carwash, automobile detailing, and quick lube services will be added in October.
Opening by the end of October will be a Subway restaurant, followed by a Petroās Chili and Chips, which will open by yearās end.
The service plaza is located on the south side of Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive and is easily accessible to all vehicles arriving and departing the passenger terminal at the airport, as well as to employees working there.
A flight-information display monitor, located inside the Circle K, provides up-to-date information on flights arriving and departing the airport, and the Service Plaza also offers public restrooms.
