Arsenal Tech students received a pleasant surprise Tuesday afternoon as Indianapolis Colts defensive end Cory Redding visited to launch his season-long pledge program.
The program asks each freshman student at Arsenal Tech to make a pledge to attend class, respect others, have a good attitude and work hard at their grades. As a reward Redding will provide 15 tickets to each of the Colts’ home games, along with a pizza party at the end of the semester.
During his visit Redding talked about how the pledge may seem like a challenge but all students need to abide by the pledge is to work hard and be respectful.
Redding said he started the pledge program “to make a change, one school, one student at a time.”
