One of Madame Walker Theatre Center’s longest running programs, Jazz on the Avenue, is held on the last Friday of every month and features local and national jazz artists.
This month, the organization will debut a group called Band Geek who play a mix of jazz and soul music.
The event will be Friday, June 24, with tickets starting at $10 with an optional soul-food dinner prepared by Creative Cakes and Catering for an additional $10.
