‘Cabaret’ at Civic Theatre

The Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre presents “Cabaret,” the provocative Tony Award-winner for best musical and best score. The show runs now through March 26 at the Civic Theatre stage on the campus of Marian University, 3200 Cold Spring Rd.

Set on the eve of Hitler’s rise to power, Cabaret captures the drama of this dark time in history and the precarious feeling that the world could come tumbling down around the characters at any moment. Evocative of the time and setting, Cabaret is raw and gritty, but phenomenal cabaret dance numbers, live music, and racy costumes make it ooze with sex appeal!

Shows begin at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Single tickets are $25 for Thursday performances and $32 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances. They can be purchased by calling the Civic Theatre’s Box Office at (317) 923-4597 or by visiting Civic’s web site at www.CivicTheatre.org.
