In an effort to keep up with the growing demand for the latest news in Taylor University Athletics, the Taylor sports information office has launched a Twitter site.
Taylor’s Twitter site can be accessed from www.twitter.com/taylortrojans.
By signing up to follow the Trojans on Twitter, fans and members of the media will have the opportunity to receive text message updates on their mobile device or through the internet. The updates are made periodically throughout the week by members of Taylor’s athletic department.
“We are working hard to keep up with the latest in technology as it relates to providing information to our fans and the media,” said Taylor sports information director Eric Smith. “The addition of Twitter as an information source will allow fans to get instant info through a cell phone or over the web.”
To become a follower of the Trojans on Twitter, fans must first create a free Twitter account at www.twitter.com. For more detailed instructions on how to follow the Trojans on Twitter, visit www.taylor.edu/athletics
Taylor’s first social networking venture was launched in early 2009 with the creation of the official Facebook page <<a href=”http://facebook.com/taylortrojans”>http://facebook.com/taylortrojans> of Taylor Athletics. More than 1,600 people have become fans of the official page, including over 700 new fans in the last week.
