For over a decade, Edible Indy has been the source of all things food for Indianapolis.
Now, Edible Indy is under Adam Grubb Media (AGM)’s ownership, and it’s bringing something new to the table.
One of 80 publications from the Edible Community network, Edible Indy combines journalism with cuisine, letting readers try everything from videos to articles providing “food for thought” to food recommendations right here in Indy.
“We have immense respect for the legacy built by Jennifer Rubenstein and her team,” Adam Grubb, CEO of AGM, said in a press release. “Our goal is to build upon that foundation, infusing Edible Indy with fresh energy and a team of creatives, journalists, and media experts to tell the stories of our amazing food and drink scene.”
As part of this goal, AGM, a Noblesville-based marketing agency, is implementing a multi-media platform expansion that will feature an elevated print magazine, digital articles, podcasts, video, exclusive dining opportunities and opportunities for consumers to interact directly with the content.
“We want to celebrate food and drink here in the Indianapolis area,” Grubb said. “I think the thing that’s most exciting is all the ways we’re going to be able to do that, and all the different mediums we’re going to be able to use.”
Besides this, fans of Edible Indy will get an even more up-close view of food enthusiasts, chefs and personalities from a YouTube channel and a virtual map that people can use to pin their favorite restaurants to a map on the Edible Indy site.
“There’s a huge audience here, and we want to tap into that,” Grubb said. “We want to hear their thoughts…And have them be the eyes and ears of the food and drink scene in Indianapolis.”
Grubb said he’s more excited for this expansion than he’s been in a while.
“It’s a very cool thing for us to do and it’s going to be a lot of fun,” Grubb said. “I just hope people have as much fun consuming the content as we’re going to have making it.”
The latest issue of Edible Indy will be available Oct. 15, and newsletters will be rolled out in July. The new online experience can be accessed at https://edibleindy.com.
