”Homeless Home Giveaway”, Gospel Concert Benefit & COGENIC Mini-Expo

More by this author

What: A local shelter, ministers and business leaders are coming together to announce: The homeless are giving away a home renovated by those without a home! The house at 1531 N. Rural is being completely remodeled and furnished by residents of a south eastside homeless shelter operated by “For God So Loved the World Ministries”. This so-called “homeless construction company” was created by the shelter’s founder, Pastor Rhonda Langston after realizing she had a pool of very talented people living right under her nose; skilled electricians, plumbers, carpenters and dry wallers. The completely remodeled home will be given away September 25th, 2010, during the “Why We Help the Homeless” Concert Benefit, Praise Marathon & COGENIC Mini-Expo. The winner will be drawn during that evening’s Shekinah Glory Ministry Concert, the high point of the day’s events. The public is invited to support the homeless by purchasing a ticket to the concert. The public & press can tour the newly remodeled home, Sept. 15, 2010 from noon to 6pm during our “Open House”.

Where: The Venue Conference Center (at Georgetown & Pike Plaza Roads in the old Value City Department Store). Tickets purchase locations to be announced at press conference.

Why: To raise monies to “help the homeless help themselves” by supporting “For God So Loved the World Ministry”, a homeless shelter at 5353 E. Raymond Street, Indianapolis, IN 46203.

When: Saturday, September 25, 2010
