The Indiana Repertory Theatre has a number of engaging plays and events for the community to enjoy. Teddy Bear Concert Series: The Garden Symphony
Preschoolers and early elementary students are invited to an introduction to instruments of the orchestra through story, movement and live music. This program will feature “The Garden Symphony,” an original story written by Victoria Griswold that follows a ladybug’s search through the garden for her own special song. Children are encouraged to bring their teddy bears. This program will be held in Central Library’s Clowes Auditorium. Motown the Musical
Motown The Musical is the true American dream story of Motown founder Berry Gordy’s journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul. This entertaining show for all ages runs at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre from Tuesday, March 28 through Sunday, April 2. Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com.
STEWARD SPEAKERS SERIES WITH BEVERLY BOND
The IUPUI Steward Speakers Series allows the community to discuss important issues of the day with celebrities, leaders and experts in particular fields. Beverly Bond, founder of the “Black Girls Rock!” nationwide youth empowerment and mentoring organization, will be at Ivy Tech School of Culinary Arts, 2820 N. Meridian St., on March 30.
