
The Indiana State Fair announced the first wave of concerts scheduled for the 2025 Hoosier Lottery Free Stage.
Presented by Get Prepared Indiana, the 2025 Indiana State Fair is scheduled for Aug. 1-17, with the theme “Soundtrack of Summer.” The Hoosier Lottery Free Stage, a long-standing summer tradition for music, will include three-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and record producer and Indiana native Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds as one of the headlining artists.
“The Hoosier Lottery has enjoyed a great relationship with the Indiana State Fair for many years,” Sarah M. Taylor, executive director of the Hoosier Lottery, said in a statement. “We are proud to sponsor the popular Hoosier Lottery Free Stage again this year where fairgoers can enjoy the ‘Soundtrack of Summer’ providing summertime value and entertainment.”

Each year, the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage aims to incorporate a diverse range of musical legends into the lineup. As of June 4, just the first wave of 2025 concerts has been announced, including:
- Three Dog Night – Aug. 1
- Disney Throwback DJ Night – Aug. 2
- Babyface – Aug. 6
- Bill Murray and His Blood Brothers – Aug. 8
- Melissa Etheridge – Aug. 15
“The Hoosier Lottery Free Stage has become a ‘winning ticket’ for all music lovers,” Taylor added. “Additionally, fairgoers 18 or older can sign up for a free myLOTTERY promotion for the chance to win an all-inclusive day at the Fair including the opportunity for free fair tickets and other prizes.”
Six winners will receive six State Fair tickets, a parking pass, $300 in Fair Bucks, the opportunity to take part in a concert at the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage and a Hoosier Lottery Prize Pack, according to a press release.
Additionally, one Grand Prize winner will be featured in a live promotion on the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage for a chance to win up to $35,000, in honor of the Hoosier Lottery’s 35th anniversary, according to a press release. Participants can enter by signing up to become a myLOTTERY member or at HoosierLottery.com/StateFair. The deadline to enter is July 3.
All concerts on the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage begin at 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted, and are free with the price of fair admission. A limited number of tickets for the concerts are available, and seating is first come, first served.
