The team (writers Victoria Swanson, Julian Wyllie and Ebony Chappel) also discussed hot topics in this week’s Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper including:
Attempted KKK recruitment efforts in Fishers, Indiana, Michael Jordan’s open letter on police brutality and much more!
Rounding out the show, IMPD officers Catherine Cummings and Val Cunningham came by to discuss the upcoming NAWLEE (National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives) conference which will be held in downtown Indianapolis. Cummings and Cunningham also shared their perspectives on the need for diversity in law enforcement and the recent instances of police action shootings and retaliation across the country.
