While much of the football focus has been on the Indianapolis Colts, there have been some fans of the sport that still had their eye elsewhere on the game. Only they were cheering on Hoosier high school athletes battling their way to the top.
Twelve schools representing six classes recently went head to head in the 2013-2014 Football State Tournament presented by the Indianapolis Colts. Notably, several Indianapolis schools found victory this year. Following are the results from games representing teams from across Indiana.

Indianapolis Cathedral – 42
- Cathedral wins 4th straight title, first in Class 5A
Class 6A State Championship
Carmel ā 6
Warren Central ā 7
- Warren Central edges conference rival Carmel for 8th state title
