With so many Italian restaurants in Indianapolis, how is one to know what is real and what isn’t? Well, one restaurant not only claims, but proves that its food is authentic Italian cuisine.
Maggiano’s Little Italy, located at Keystone at the Crossing, focuses on real Southern Italian food, beginning with appetizers such as the stuffed mushrooms: jumbo mushroom caps stuffed with spinach and topped with our seasoned breadcrumbs and house cheese; served in a white wine chicken broth.
For dinner, try the Beef Braciole, beef cutlets stuffed and rolled with ground beef, Italian vegetables and asiago cheese, served with Pappardelle Pasta with garlic butter. The garlic shrimp linguine, baked ziti and sausage or veal parmesan are more entrees to make this worth the trip.
What could make this restaurant even better? The environment. Maggiano’s takes pride not only in its authentic Italian cuisine, but also the environment.
Maggiano’s brings Little Italy to life with its Italian-themed restaurant that takes pride in its classy and vintage Italian look. From large mirrors to the bottles of wine used for decorations to Frank Sinatra playing in the background, you feel as if you were there.
However, just because their service is upscale does not mean that people have to dress upscale to come in.
ALTHOUGH A LOT OF MAGGIANO’S CROWD IS FOR ROMANTIC EVENINGS OR FESTIVE GATHERINGS, THE RESTAURANT ALSO TAKES PRIDE IN HAVING DIFFERENT TYPES OF PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT AT ANY TIME. WHETHER A PERSON IS DRESSED IN THEIR SUNDAY’S FINEST OR IN A T-SHIRT, EVERYONE IS ALWAYS WELCOME AT MAGGIANO’S LITTLE ITALY.
