Indianapolis — The free Community Health Fair, sponsored by the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper will take place Saturday, September 22 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Central Library Atrium, 40 East St. Clair St.
The annual health aims at educating the community about various aspects of health care; from knowing your blood and glucose numbers, eating healthy foods, and even quick and effective exercises that anyone can do. There will be a variety of free medical screenings and information that will help Hoosiers lead healthier lives.
“This is an excellent opportunity for the community to receive thousands of dollars worth of heath screenings at absolutely no cost,” said Shannon Williams, president of the Indianapolis Recorder. “Not only is this event educational, but it’s also a lot of fun and something the entire family can participate in.”
This is the second year for the Community Health Fair. Admission and screenings are free and open to the public.
