Indianapolis residents will gather on Feb. 22 on Monument Circle in remembrance of Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old boy who was shot and killed by police on Nov. 22 in Cleveland, Ohio. Rice’s case was ruled a homicide by medical examiners. The city is invited to reclaim humanity and stand for children who have been stolen by death, exactly three months after Rice’s death. Participants are asked to wear all black and use the hashtags #StolenChilrden and #ReclaimHumanity on social media.
