JASPER, IND. – The Vincennes University Jasper Campus, in partnership with
The E-tailers Institute, will present a three-day seminar designed to help
participants learn to open and succeed in an online business. “E-tailer:
Solving the Mystery,” will be offered Oct. 27-29 at the VU Jasper Campus.
For reservations received by Oct. 1, the cost $349; later reservations will

The purpose of the seminar is to introduce students to the various steps
required to open and maintain an online presence, including strategic
planning and execution. This hands-on training covers the basics,
including mission/vision statements, working with functional internet
tools, understanding affiliate programs and strategic planning. The
seminar is interactive with many group activities throughout where students
will work together to create a mock company.
At the completion of the E-tailers Institute, students will have the
foundation for online success and receive a certificate from the VU Jasper
Campus and E-tailers Institute.
This specialized seminar has been created to serve individuals who are
interested in owning a website, an online business, or those who are
interested in creating an online presence. Small business owners,
retailers, healthcare providers, educators, other professionals, and
aspiring e-preneurs will benefit from the experience.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
As the founder of Body Biz, Inc., an online resource for body-centric
organizations and health care practitioners, Rick Hayhurst, CEO, develops
programs related to wellness services and education. He recently completed
three terms as President of Lincoln Park Network, 2004-07, Chicago’s oldest
networking organization. He continues to work with individuals, companies,
and institutions nationwide bringing a variety of programs to enhance job
skills and improve networking in the community.
