The Indiana Supreme Court has appointed two new members to its disciplinary commission, which investigates and prosecutes charges of attorney misconduct.
The court announced Monday it had appointed Catherine A. Nestrick of Evansville and Tony Walker of Gary to five-year terms on the nine-member panel.
Nestrick is a partner with the Evansville law firm of Bamberger, Foreman, Oswald and Hahn, LLP, practicing commercial litigation, and is current president of the Legal Aid Society of Evansville.
Walker is the managing attorney of The Walker Law Group, P.C., and specializes in representing churches, schools, and government agencies. He formerly was legislative counsel to the late U.S. Rep. Julia Carson.
The court also reappointed attorney Anthony Prather of Indianapolis.
