This week, representatives of the Indiana Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (ITVAP) visited local businesses on the city’s westside in preparation for the 100th running of the Indy 500. Research shows that sporting events are huge draws for those who traffic young people and those seeking to purchase young people for the purpose of sexual acts. For more information on ITVAP and their efforts to end human trafficking in Indiana, visit indysb.org/itvap.
We also discussed one former IPS principal’s call for superintendent Lewis Ferebee’s resignation.
