More by this author

SipeSociety.com, a new online subscription service for the homeschooled community, will begin offering services next week. The service provides a combination of academic and socialization support for clients in a virtual setting.

The program was developed by former eighthĀ grade social studies teacher, Jason Sipe, who most recently taught at an Indiana virtual charter school. According to Mr. Sipe, ā€œTechnology provides great opportunities to build community and culture as well as educate. We offer resources like 1 on 1 academic assistance and student produced daily announcements, as well as online recess and clubs in a real time, online classroom setting.ā€ The service will offer over 30 hours of interactive programming a week to subscribers through the Adobe Connect platform.

SipeSociety.com is offering a free two week trial to new applicants. Interested families should complete the application atĀ sipesociety.com. Applicants are advised that space is limited.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
