Among the candy, snacks and flowers you will find Dominique’s Aromatherapy Hair and Body products in the Frank & Katrina Basile Gift Shop located within the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital.
The product line was created by Rochelle Asberry, the owner of wellness company Dominique’s Enterprise LLC, and a certified massage therapist for the past 18 years.
Asberry was asked to bring in her full line of Dominique’s Aromatherapy Hair and Body Care Products to the gift shop. Comprised of 28 items such as body butters, facial toners and bath oils, the products contain all-natural ingredients while providing services for the hair, face, hands and feet, which are available for both men and women.
In an interview with the Indianapolis Recorder, Asberry talked about her company.
What do you hope this opportunity will bring to your company?
I hope this opportunity will give my company additional products placements at other gift shops, stores and businesses with a similar vision. Also, I look forward to more doors opening for public speaking opportunities to address the benefits of health and wellness in our community.
How is your mission and the mission of the Frank & Katrina Basile Gift Shop similar?
It is virtually the same. It is truly about awareness and giving people options to make better decisions for their health and lives. We have a service heart for people – to support, educate, uplift and pay it forward.
What type of feelings do you have toward this vendorship?
Overjoyed! I keep pinching myself to make sure this is real. I am so humbled by this wonderful opportunity. I trust that if you continue to work hard, be committed to your vision, doors can open. I never take anyone or anything for granted. I know if I keep planting good seeds in good soil, something will grow. Each stepping stone leads to another one.
How has your business traffic increased since your products hit the shelves?
It has increased in so many ways. The exposure has increased the demand for our products. Customers are sharing their experience with others on social media and “the buzz” is expanding. Our new customers love the fact that we make a full line of products to care for their health care needs (hair, face, hands, feet and body) and my local customers like being able to contact our company to get suggestions and samples before purchasing.
What piece of advice would you give to other business owners who are looking to expand their brand?
You have to build relationships, seek wise counsel (be around like minded people) and customer service is paramount.
