The 12th annual Bankers Life’s “Forget Me Not Day” fundraiser to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana Chapter will be May 16 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Volunteers, wearing green gardening aprons, will collect donations at the following downtown locations:
- Monument Circle
- Near Georgia Street
- Outside of Circle Centre Mall
- Outside Weber Grill (Washington and Illinois Streets)
In exchange for the donations, volunteers will hand out packets of Forget-Me-Not flower seeds to take home and plan in honor of families across Indiana who are facing or have lost someone with Alzheimer’s. More than five million Americans are living with this disease, including 100,000 Hoosiers.
CNO Financial Group and Bankers Life volunteers will be joined by the local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and the Indiana Pacers’ Boomer and Pacemates at different times throughout the event.
All of the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association.
