4 Comedy clubs to visit

More by this author

If your last recollection of a comedy club is from the movie “The Nutty Professor,” maybe it’s time to visit some comedy clubs around the city and enjoy a good laugh with a live audience, not at home with a recorded soundtrack. Indianapolis offers a great deal of options to tickle your funnybone.

247 S. Meridian St.

Crackers Comedy Club has been voted Indy’s No. 1 place to see live comedy by visitors, and has two locations where local and touring comedians perform. Reservations are first come, first served and large groups must have all tickets purchased before entering the showroom to be seated together.

Crackers’ upcoming special event will feature David Alan Grier, April 9-11.
