This summer Indianapolis will host an international market that brings together authentic food and artisanal vendors from around the world.
On August 30, the Manthan International Market offers its second monthly market event on Massachusetts Avenue in downtown Indianapolis. The Manthan International Market presents a colorful display of diverse ethnic foods and features many of Indianapolis’ most cherished international restaurants. Once a month, vendors from a wide variety of world cultures come together to share their mix of flavorful foods with the people of Indiana. As NUVO Food writer Sarah Murrell noted, “The community market feeling was alive at Manthan for sure.”
“The Manthan International Market is a unique cultural experience where people can taste an assortment of authentic international foods,” says market co-founder Nathan Smith. “We are a hub where Indy’s local ethnic food and artisanal vendors gather in a convenient location to share their talents, foods, and cultures with the city.”
Admission is free to the public. The second monthly market event will take place on August 30 from 12:00-5:00 P.M. at 748 Massachusetts Avenue.
