Sportscaster Eric Yutzy from WTVF-TV Nashville joins WTHR as our new weekend sports anchor/reporter.
Eric is the perfect addition to our sports staff. His beats included the Tennessee Titans, University of Tennessee and Vanderbilt University, and he has great passion and enthusiasm for sports and its impact on a community. Eric made WTVF his home since 2004 (working with our former anchor Rhori Johnston,) also co-hosting a radio sports talk show for three of those years. Before then he was a sports anchor at WMGM-TV in Atlantic City. He started out as a news reporter/anchor at WGRT/WKEF-TV in Dayton, Ohio.
He’s a 2002 graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut.
Eric and his wife Jennifer have a 23-month-old son Isaiah, and are expecting their second child this spring. Eric’s starts WTHR Friday, January 29th.
