On Friday August 28 at 7 p.m. there will be a youth explosion at New Life Worship Center’s Central Campus. Join Pastor John F. Ramsey, while he shares his wisdom and the word of God. Friday’s events are geared for students in grades of 5 -12, pre-teens to high school teenagers, says Shannon Hart, director of marketing at New Life.
Then on Saturday August 29, the Community Day Festival, will begin at noon and end at approximately 6 p.m. at the same location. There will be food, fun, games and even a dunk tank there, I wonder if Pastor Ramsey will be the one in the dunk tank? (Things that make you go “hmm”). A $1 all day pass will help differ the expense of putting on such an event. The whole family can come experience a nice, holy and wholesome, event, conducive to enhancing the Kenwood area. Saturday is geared toward all age groups.
Do to limited parking, New Life partnered with Butler University to allow attendees to park in a secure area at Butler University. The New Life Shuttle Bus will transport you to and from the event.
Senior Pastor Ramsey, First Lady Alicia Ramsey and their pastoral staff are committed to this community day festival. True evangelism has to begin by meeting the needs of the people you are trying to evangelize; The Ramseys understand this concept, which explains the explosive church growth over the last eight years.
